I’m shaving all of my hair off, and it’s for a good cause!

So May is MS awareness month and while you all have to put up with me whinging often about my health and the issues that present themselves. I wanted to do something which would have a maximum impact and would also raise some much needed funds for MS research.

May 25th of World MS Day. The theme this year will be ‘Independence’. This includes employment, but also looks at all of the other ways people with MS achieve independence. As someone that decided to go out on their own and do their own thing in business so I can always be in control of my life, work load and client list I think that is well and truly knocked on the head there. But not enough and I’m always wanting to do more and you know I like to stand out from the crowd.

For a long time now (more than me just having a bad hair day) I’ve been wanting to shave my head. See it as a fresh change, a new beginning and well it annoys me on those days to worry about doing it when I don’t feel well. From everything I’ve read from other’s that have it’s a way moving forward to empowerment. My hair is just that and it no longer fits me.

I am aiming to raise $5k for the MS foundation and would love to get everyone’s support. On May 25th, sayonara to the locks. I could go and shave it all off now, but I feel that this is a good opportunity not only to create some awareness but to also turn a new page and say goodbye to the old and hello to the new!

You need only search the internet for chicks that have shaved their heads, and there are loads of babes that have done it. Women with cropped and shaved heads is actually a set trend for the Spring/ Summer season too. Remember you saw it here first!!

If you want to donate, then you can do so via my official page and with the monies going straight to the foundation.

If you would also to donate a voucher, a product or your service. we’ll also be holding an online auction with the proceeds also being donated. Please get in touch if this method better suits you, you can email chrissy@creativelittlesoul.com.au
