Season’s Greetings from Creative Little Soul

It’s that time of the year again, where we ask ourselves where did the year go and how is it almost Christmas time already? We’re down to single digits now with it really being quite close now.

This time last year my life was very different as I’m sure I’ve already told you and that 12 months in the grand scheme of things, when used wisely can and does reap a world of benefits. I am happier, healthier, less stressed and also able to live and breath doing what I love every day. This year I’ve traveled more and also had an opportunity to meet and work with some amazing people. People that have not only taught me a lot about myself, but also enabled me to share with them my love and passion for helping others. It truly has been a good year.

So with 2016 just around the corner and the holiday season upon us right, you think that it would be a time to take some down time or we’d be taking a break? While we’ll be running with skeleton staff over this period, there are quite a few of us (myself included) that are plotting, planning and working on new strategies- not only for ourselves in business but also with our clients.  If you need something during this time frame please don’t feel like you’re interrupting us or bothering us, I’d love to hear from you.

The beginning of a new year brings with it endless possibilities and an opportunity for each and everyone of us. Like I do in business and how I also break up my own goals I suggest this (which means you’re more likely to keep and achieve ticking off your targets and goals).

Pick 3 things which rank as priorities and things you want to get done. Complete, work towards and then achieve these goals. You’re more likely to get them done by breaking them down vs looking at all the mammoth tasks and things you need to do to achieve this or get to them. Set realistic timelines, hold yourself accountable to them, ask for help our outsource where necessary. I do this even for myself as it’s the only way I can continue to work on my side and personal projects – remembering that I have to work on those as much as everyone else’s.

2015 has not been without it’s up’s and downs, trying moments or challenges BUT hey I made it through and lived to tell the tale. I think that old adage of “what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger” is certainly the right phrase to coin here.  A very genuine thank you to each and everyone of you that follows me across any of my personal and business accounts, that’s come to a training session or even just wants to listen to what I have to say. To those clients and suppliers of mine – THANK YOU for doing so and to my friends, family, staff and everyone else – thank you also. I am very grateful for this experience and I can’t wait for the new year. There is loads planned, new people to work with, places to visit and things to achieve.

Take a few minutes and ask yourself this question – Are you happy where you are right now? In 12 months if you were to look back would you be pleased with the situation, circumstances or life that you’re living? If you said a big fuck off yes to that then awesome. Well done… But if there’s any hesitation and you want to do more, see more achieve more – know that you can. Because I did and I’m so glad that I did with much more set in my sites.

It only takes a minute to message me but taking the first step is often the hardest. Whatever you’re up to this holiday season, enjoy it.

From myself and all the team here at Creative Little Soul keep shining on and we wish you nothing but the best and are truly humbled and grateful.

Chrissy….
