As the team at Creative Little Soul continues to grow across our now three brands, we thought it was time we introduced you to some of the new faces working behind the scenes here. Creative Little Soul founded by our fearless leader Chrissy Symeonakis is a team of amazing creatives, artists and artisans. Here to help look after your marketing and business. Let us now introduce you to one of our teams newest additions Eleni (pronounced Eh-len-ee)
What is your new role at Creative Little Soul?
I’m the Community and Relationships Manager
Did you have a connection with Chrissy or CLS before your new role?
I was fortunate enough to meet Chrissy via the social media app Clubhouse!
I remember the exact day I came across Chrissy; it was in one of her Email Marketing rooms, and I immediately thought, “Chrissy is my people!”. From that point, Chrissy & I became great friends. She was so knowledgeable in what she was explaining, and she had a killer sense of humour too. I even enrolled in her email marketing course (which I highly recommend)! I honestly can’t thank the universe enough that we crossed paths.
What was your first paying job, and what did it teach you?
My very first job was working in my mum and dad’s supermarket! Growing up in a family business, you learn so much. For me, the big lesson was watching how my parents treated everyone with kindness and respect, from their customers, the staff, to their suppliers. Everyone was considered family. It was such an important life lesson and one that really shaped who I became.
Have you completed any tertiary/vocational education?
I have an honours degree in applied science, majoring in social geography, and a minor in international business. I focused my degree mostly on research of ethnic communities, immigration, and cultural studies.
I also just completed a Cert 3 in Entrepreneurship and small business.
Where did you work before landing your job at CLS?

I’m currently part-time at CLS while running my own business CHASE FATE, where I design and hand-make jewellery inspired by Greece and the Greek islands.
What do you do to stay motivated at work? (Do you have a productivity hack you can share with us?)
I always make sure I leave my desk tidy at the end of the day and have it ready to go with my notebook and pen for the morning. That, and coffee! It starts my day off right.
What is your favourite social media platform, and why?
Clubhouse! If it weren’t for this app, I wouldn’t have met Chrissy for one thing, not to mention all the other amazing and hilarious friends I’ve made on there.
Can you share with us where you go looking for inspiration?
My neighbourhood. I’m a born and bred Sydney inner-westie. Watching the area evolve over the years has been so interesting. Never a dull moment, that’s for sure.
Are you involved in any community groups? If so, is being involved in the community important to you?
Sydney Made. We are a team of seven volunteers who support local artisans, makers, and designers in Sydney through events, workshops, our online directory, and social media promo. It can be tough being a creative, so myself and our legendary team work really hard to do all we can to help out our local maker’s community.
What are your hobbies outside of work?
I’m a pretty busy gal, so rather than hobbies, I try to take some downtime by catching up with friends, watching something good on Netflix, or hanging out with my two best buds – my nephews!
What kind of music do you enjoy?
Ok! Ok! Ok! This is not fair. This is by far the hardest question. I probably have soul, funk and, 90s RnB and hip hop on rotation the most, but I can honestly go from rock and metal to classical and piano. Fun fact: I’ve played five instruments (including the trombone), but I’m no good at any! hahaha eh! *shrugs shoulders* ?
Can you tell us one place on your bucket list that you want to travel to and why?
Since I was a little girl, I’ve always wanted to go to Egypt. I really want to see the pyramids up close; I want to experience the culture; I want to see the country.
Fave Disney Princess/ Character and why?
Princess Jasmine. She zooms around on a flying carpet and gets to wear turquoise harem pants full time. Need I say more!
At CLS, we are very focused on self-care. Can you share with us some of the things you do to look after yourself that keep you in a good place to take on the challenges of daily life?
Meditation and mindfulness are really important to me. I started 17 years ago, when I was in my early 20s, and I can’t recommend it enough. It’s made such a difference in my life and has really helped me with my anxiety. Sometimes it’s as simple as a few minutes of grounding and deep breathing, but it’s always a must in my life.
