STONEBRIDGE (SWEDEN)
Before Sweden had a house mafia, they had a Godfather, and this is him. Since tapping into the musical mainstream with his remix work for artists such as Robin S, Sia, Texas, Missy Elliott, Madonna, Taio Cruz and Ne-Yo, Grammy Award nominated artist, producer and DJ StoneBridge has not slowed down. StoneBridge has taken his unique brand of sexy, groove-ladled house to crowds throughout the world.
His DJ travels have encompassed top bill performances at stages from Australia’s Future Music Festival, Sundown Music Festival and Wet Electric to Womb in Tokyo, while being a regular guest at clubs like London’s Ministry of Sound, San Francisco’s Ruby Skye and Detroit’s Bleu. With guest mixes and radio shows for Hedkandi and Sirius Radio, plus production under his various monikas, including Dirty Harry. There’s plenty this man has his hands in, and it’s all pure gold!
You’ll have heard StoneBridge’s biggest singles to date; ‘Put ‘Em High’ and ‘Take Me Away’, which both scored UK Top 10 chart positions, and are known the world wide as some of the most influential house tracks of all time. His accoldated and projects are many, but this just in his latest single “TURN IT DOWN FOR WHAT ft Seri” is nominated this year for Grammy in the dance category!!! THE FREEMASONS (UK)
Freemasons are an English DJ band from Brighton, East Sussex, England. The act consists of the producers Russell Small (who is also one half of the house production duo Phats & Small) and James Wiltshire (who also works with Phats & Small under the alias ‘Jimmy Gomez’) .
Signed to labels such as Ministry of Sound UK, They’re most known for their track “Love on My Mind”. A #11 hit in the UK, it was also released in the United States on their U.S. label home, the New York based Ultra Records.
Freemasons were also the remixers on Faith Evans’ 2005 #1 Hot Dance Club Play and #4 Hot Dance Airplay hit, “Mesmerized”. The Freemason’s follow-up, “Watchin'” was released in the United States in 2006 with Amanda Wilson as their lead vocalist for the track. “Watchin'” peaked at #1 on the Hot Dance Club Play and within the Top 20 of the Hot Dance Airplay chart. The third original single from the Freemasons, “Rain Down Love” reached the Top 20 of the Hot Dance Airplay chart. Their fourth single (released digitally), “Nothing But a Heartache” featuring vocals from Sylvia Mason-James was released in June 2007. The Freemasons also remixed Beyoncé’s original song, “Déjà Vu” in 2006 (for which they were Beautiful Liar’, ‘Ring The Alarm’ and ‘Greenlight’ became legendary with their versions used as the lead radio edits across Europe, along with other mixes such as Kelly Rowland’s ‘Work’, Kylie’s ‘The One’ and Whitney Houston’s ‘Million Dollar Bill’.
Freemasons released two Shakedown mix albums and their own album ‘Unmixed’ and hit the top ten again with their sixth hit in a row with ‘Heartbreak’ (Make Me A Dancer) featuring Sophie Ellis-Bextor. The success of their productions led to bookings all over the world, headlining Mardi Gras twice and playing everywhere from Rio to Seoul, culminating in an epic ‘Summer of Pride’ in 2010 in which they headlined at every major Pride festival in the UK and North America. SEAMUS HAJI (UK)
Best known for his hit remake of “Last Night A DJ Saved My Life” (Top 15 in the UK National Chart) and of course that remix of Booty Luv’s “Boogie 2Nite” which peaked at number 2, he unwittingly spawned the electro house sound.
His remixes always respect the vocal whether it be R&B royalty such as Rihanna, Mariah Carey, Brandy; indie/rock/pop such as Ting Tings, Moby, Just Jack, Mika or straight-up dance such as Calvin Harris, Axwell, Roisin Murphy. Still an in-demand remixer he’s recently worked with the likes of Ed Sheeran, Labrinth, Jamiroqaui and Izzy Bizu!
His own productions are well-known global dancefloor staples from “God’s Child”, ‘Weekend’ & ‘Take Me Away’ to his collaborations with Mark Knight, Funkagenda, Kaskade, EDX & Cevin Fisher being signed to label heavy weights Toolroom, Ultra and Strictly Rhythm.
As a DJ, he’s played all over the world & held residencies at Ministry of Sound & Pacha in London as well as in Ibiza and also toured for the likes of Defected, Hed Kandi & MOS across the globe. He’s also a regular fixture at Pride in Brighton, Manchester & London playing to thousands of people.
He’s graced the decks for the hallowed Radio 1 Essential Mix hosted by Pete Tong, not once but twice & also mixed 2 Sessions compilations for Ministry Of Sound and many more for Defected & Strictly Rhythm.
He’s been involved in nearly all aspects of the Music Business – working in London’s most influential dance record shops to A&Ring for Slip’n’Slide Records, Defected Records, Strictly Rhythm and Toolroom to writing for seminal Dance Music mags such as Muzik Magazine, DMC Update, DJ Mag, and of course, de rigueur stints on pirate radio.
Seamus is also at the helm of his own much-respected house music label, Big Love for which he A&Rs, produces and compiles and his latest single “Feel It” recently hit the Gaydio Dance Chart number 1 spot with strong support from Sander Kleinenberg, Low Steppa, StoneBridge, Robbie Rivera, Horsemeat Disco, Vanilla Ace, Tommy Trash, Hector Romero, Hardsoul and many more!
